About this notice

This notice explains how Appliance Rescuers LLC handles mobile numbers and text-message information for our Appliance Rescuers Service Updates texts. It adds to our Privacy Policy and SMS Terms.

What we collect

your mobile phone number;
your consent record: whether you opted in, how (booking form, phone call or text), the date and time, and the wording you agreed to;
texts we send and receive, including your replies and delivery status; and
your opt-out and help requests.

Giving us your phone number for a request doesn’t, by itself, sign you up for texts.

How we use it

We use this information only to send the texts you agreed to, respond to your replies, stop texts when you opt out, keep records of your consent and choices, fix delivery problems, and follow the law and carrier rules.

Your mobile number stays with us.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Our text-messaging provider processes numbers and messages only to deliver texts for us, under our instructions. We don’t sell mobile numbers or text-message information.

How long we keep it

We keep consent and opt-out records as long as needed to prove consent and honor your choices, and message records as long as needed for your service and our records. See the retention section of our Privacy Policy.

Your choices

Reply STOP to stop texts, or HELP for help. You can ask to access or delete your text-message information by contacting us. We keep a record of an opt-out so we don’t text you again.
